Information about testing for tournament participants

In Slovenia, it is mandatory for all tournament participants (exceptions explained below) to have proof of a negative test for COVID-19 which is not older than 72 hours. 

 

We will be organizing free testing for tournament participants (players, supporting personnel, referees, and organizers) every Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday starting on Sunday 23.5.2021 and finishing on 6.6.2021. 

 

Testing will take place at Hotel Šport (Adress: Grajska cesta 2, 8222 Otočec) in the morning between 8 am and 10 am. Participants will have to follow a set schedule published the day before the testing. 

 

If participants do not come to the testing we will be notified and they will not be allowed on site. We will also be notified if a participant tests positive. In that case, the participant will be ordered to take a PCR test (at the same location) and wait for the results isolated in their room.

 

Players arriving on the days when we are not testing will also not be allowed on-site if they do not have proof of a negative test that is not older than 72 hours. 

 

• if you have a positive PCR test result that is older than 10 days, unless a doctor assesses otherwise, but which is not older than six months, or a medical certificate of recovery from COVID-19 if not more than six months have elapsed since the beginning of symptoms. Proof of antibodies is not enough.
  _{Evidence referred to in this point are taken into account if they have been issued in an EU Member State or a Schengen Area country, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Israel or Russia.}
  
  
• a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19, which proves that:

1. 1.    at least 7 days have passed since the second dose of the Comirnaty vaccine by BioNTech/Pfizer,
   2.    at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Moderna,
   3.    at least 21 days have passed since the first dose of the Vaxzevria (COVID-19 vaccine) by AstraZeneca,
   4.    at least 14 days have passed since the dose of the COVID-19 vaccine Janssen by Johnson & Johnson/Janssen-Cilag,
   5.    at least 21 days have passed since the first dose of the Covishield vaccine by the Serum Institute of India/AstraZeneca,
   6.    at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine by Russia’s Gamaleya National Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology,
   7.    at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the CoronaVac vaccine by Sinovac Biotech, or
   8.    at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by Sinopharm.
      

 Bring the proof with you when you first arrive on site and show it to the tournament desk and we will make a copy of it. You can send the proof to the tournament desk in advance (burger.evgenija@gmail.com) or bring an extra copy for us to keep.
