Last week we organized another professional tennis tournament with the help of Slovenian national association Petrol Open 2021.<\/p>\n
The winner of the tournament was Maryna Zanevska from Belgium, winning 76 60 over 21-years old Lea Boskovic from Croatia!<\/p>\n
We are proud to say the players that participated in the tournament had really high rankings (almost all players in the main draw were ranked below 300) and a few of them flew to Oto\u010dec directly from Roland Garros!<\/p>\n
There were a few Slovenian players that played in the main draw but only Nina Poto\u010dnik and Dalila Jakupovi\u0107 made it to the second round. \u017diva Falkner and Nika Zupan\u010di\u010d – players from Oto\u010dec – were both eliminated in the first round of the tournament. <\/p>\n
But Pia Lovri\u010d, who lost in the first round of the main draw to Beatriz Maia Haddad, partnered with Sada Nahimana in doubles and made it to the final where they, unfortunately, lost to much older players Ulrike Eikkeri and Reka Luca Jani.<\/p>\n
After two weeks of hard work and almost 100 matches played we couldn’t be happier with how Krka Open and Petrol Open turned out. Big thanks goes to all the great players that took part in both events and made them so special!<\/p>\n
